On the Cover
The cover photograph shows several flakes and chunks of Hole-in-the-Wall
agate that were extracted during 2019 work at Red Eagle
Mine. (See the article starting on page 38.) If you would like to participate
in the project to recognize this agate in prehistory and receive
several samples for comparison with specimens in your collection, please
send postage ($8.50) to cover the mailing of a small priority
mail box to: R. M. Gramly, 455 Stevens Street, North Andover, Massachusetts
01845. The return address should be given clearly. Feedback
about any discoveries of this agate will be gratefully appreciated. In
the future, updates will be given on what is uncovered.
