Described by C.C. Jones in 1876 as a pottery “Canoe” effigy smoking pipe, this artifact was found along the Coosa River near Rome, Georgia. It is Mississippian in origin and is in the collection of David P. Walsh Sr. of Macon, Georgia.

A very handsome Caddo flared rim waterbottle is identified as Natchitoches engraved, line filled with red ochre. The brownware vessel has a burnished polish overall and measures 9 3/4 inches in height, 7 3/4 inches wide and was found in Morris County, Texas. It formerly resided in the Frank Nicholson collection, later Sam Johnson and Dr. Kent Westbrook.

This extremely curved pick bannerstone of concentrically banded slate measures 5 inches from tip to tip. Found in Ohio, it was collected by Payne, McLain, Pickett, Bunch, Smith, Brooks, Steimle, Berner and most recently Dr.John Winsch.

This frame of Paleo and Early Archaic are incredible personal finds of the 7 people who call themselves the “Dalton Gang”. The points are personal finds of Rick & Geri Stevens, Rocky& Debbie Bornholdt, Jimmie Aikins, Don Elliot and Steve Smith and were found on the Arkansas watershed. The center clovis is 3 3/4 inches of Niobrara Jasper, found by Rocky this year. 4 Clovis, 1 Folsom, 1 Agate Basin, 3 Plainview, 5 Allens, 4 Hellgaps, 1 Meserve, 1 Da lton, 2 Calf Creeks,1 Midland, 2 Edens, 2 Goshens, 3 Scottsbluffs and 1 Cody knife make up this outstanding grouping found by a dedicated group of collectors.

This full grooved granite Deptford Axe was found in Taswell County, North Carolina. It measures 9 1/2 inches in length and 4 1/4 inches in width. It formerly was in the collections of Billy Bush, Columbus, Indiana and Floyd Ritter CA-13, Collinsville, Illinois. Collection of C.J. O ’Neill, Monroe, North Carolina

This outstanding polychrome wide base, flared mouth water bottle is painted orange/red on buff with negative resist black, a technique more likely to be found in Western Tennessee, however this vessel which is 7 inches tall and 6 3/8 inches wide was discovered in Mississippi County, Missouri. Michael Redwine personally found this fine Uvalde projectile in Uvalde County, Texas in September 2005. It measures 5 inches in length and 1 7/8 inches in width and is made of Edwards chert. Collection of Michael Redwine, Texas
