| Jan Walter Sorgenfrei passed away on December 12, 2012 at the age of 70. He was born on November 4, 1942. Jan first married Betty Miller (they later divorced) and surviving him are their three children
and four grandchildren. He later married Kristine (Frick) Comer (they divorced and she preceded him in death) and one son survives. Jan then married Vicky (Philo) Bailey and she survives along with two sons and one granddaughter. Jan received his Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University and started his career as Vice President for Federated. He later opened Painters Creek Antiques
in Pandora, Ohio. He is currently the owner of the Old Barn Auction House which he has operated for the past 25 years. He was an avid collector of Indian Artifacts. Jan was a member of the Archaeological Society of Ohio where he served as past president.
