A three-quarter groove axe made of black & yellow speckled
diorite where the white crystals have turned yellow due to age and patination. Found by Roger Wells in 1977 near Lake Fisher in Davis County, Iowa,
it is 7 ½ inches long, 3 inches wide and 2 inches thick.
It is the only artifact found by Mr. Wells. Collection of Rodney Legg, Wayne City, Illinois
