These three fine Archaic period points were found in Henderson
County, Kentucky, by Shelia Shoulders. All three were found in local creeks
during 2018, and all are undamaged. At top are two Kirk Corner Notched
points. At the bottom is a Big Sandy point, which is the longest of the three and measures 3 3/8 inches in length.

Three snapped base Kirk points. At far left is a point
I acquired from Keith Bowers, the grandsonof the finder, Robert Jenkins.
The center point is made from Harrodsburg chert. The far right point is
the
first one found in the Hemp field. It measures 2 ¾ inches in length.
