This exquisite Clarksville bannerstone from Posey County, Indiana is 3 1/4 inches in length, 1 11/16 inches wide, perforation tapers from 7/16 to 3/8 inches diameter. Pictured: Payne Stone age collection pg.49, Bannerstones (Knoblock 1939) pg 261, The Archaic Bannerstone (Lutz 1999), it is white, black,gray translucent quartzite and was previously cataloged by Edward Payne, George Hoke, B.W. Stephens, Tommy Beutell and John F. Berner.
